Katarina is a psychologist with a rich background in people development within organizations. Currently working as an individual and team coach, Katarina is also a trainer at Koučing Centar and runs her psychotherapy practice. Combining a constructivist, cognitive behavioral, and systemic approach, Katarina has a unique way of understanding individuals, teams, and larger groups, helping them navigate personal and professional challenges.
Katarina believes that, while we all seem to face similar obstacles, we each have specifics of our own context which leads us to express ourselves differently and creates a need for personalized strategies to overcome our obstacles. By focusing on self-awareness—how we think, feel, and act—Katarina teaches people to learn faster from their own experiences and find solutions more effectively.
Katarina highlights the powerful link between recognizing and regulating emotions and enhancing essential life skills such as communication, conflict resolution, and goal setting. Mastering these emotional skills not only strengthens personal well-being but also drives professional success by directly improving both the quality of personal relationships and the overall performance within organizations.

Topic: Regulating Emotions: Mastering Your Inner Agility
Description: Emotional regulation refers to the ability to manage and respond to emotional experiences in a healthy and productive way. It involves recognizing emotions, understanding their impact, and applying strategies to regulate them effectively. This is a critical skill for anyone navigating complex interactions, high-pressure environments, or personal challenges, whether in life or business.
Why is it Important?
In both personal and professional settings, emotions often influence our decisions, behaviors, and relationships. Without emotional regulation, emotions can overwhelm us, leading to poor communication, conflicts, stress, and ineffective decision-making. On the other hand, effectively regulating emotions leads to better communication, improved conflict resolution, higher productivity, and overall well-being.
What Will You Learn?
In this interactive workshop, you will:
● Recognize Emotions: Understand how to identify emotions in yourself and others. This awareness is the first step toward managing how emotions impact thoughts and actions.
● Techniques for Regulation: Learn a variety of tools and strategies to regulate emotions, including mindfulness, cognitive reappraisal, and physical practices. You’ll also explore methods such as “opposite action” and “checking the facts” to ensure emotions align with reality .
● What to Do When Self-Regulation is Not Enough: Discover when and how to seek external support, such as co-regulation through social support or professional help when
emotions become too overwhelming.
Why It Matters for You and Your Team?
Mastering emotional regulation isn’t just about personal well-being; it’s essential for effective leadership and teamwork. In the agile world, managing stress, handling team conflicts, and setting clear goals are key responsibilities. Recognizing and regulating emotions enhances your ability to:
● Communicate more effectively during conflicts.
● Set and achieve goals while navigating emotional highs and lows.
● Lead and inspire teams by fostering a healthy emotional environment that boosts
productivity .
This workshop is designed for Scrum Masters and coaches who want to develop emotional agility, leading to stronger teams and more successful projects. It’s not just about managing emotions—it’s about using them as a tool for personal and professional growth.
