Workshop on ORANGE stage
Topic: Agile culture implementation in practice
Description: We work with volatility & uncertainty in our organisations but as Agilists, we in the Agile industry, are in interesting times of change and uncertainty.
How do we navigate this uncertainty and what’s the one essential trait we need to do this? It’s not a new trait but one that’s been hiding there in plain sight all along: Leadership – not as a title or position but as a critical capability.
‘3rd Way’?
Rather than avoiding the challenge, or tinkering with an irrelevance to fool ourselves into thinking we’re addressing the issue, we need a 3rd option that actually does address it. This ‘3rd way’ Agilist is neither dogmatic or irrelevant but one who navigates the waters of turbulent times through clarity, determination and connection with who they are and what they stand for.
This session explores aspects of engaging with change, understanding who we truly are and bringing this together to find an authentic response in these times.
Workshop goal for each participant (3):
- Experience the transformative power of Somatic practice
- Gain a deeper understanding of what leading in a time of change means to them
- Build courage to lead in their own authentic ‘3rd Way’
This workshop will be fully interactive and use a lot of Somatic practice to allow participants to experience the concepts rather than filling their heads with facts. This practice is open to all but you will need to commit to the session. Be aware that Somatic practice can also be an intense experience!
