About the program

Product people are often at the heart of company success – yet too many of them are left to figure things out on their own. No structured guidance. No feedback on how they actually work. Just experience gained through trial and error, one sprint at a time.

This program was designed to change that.

The Product Management Education Program is a practical learning journey built specifically for Product Owners and Product Managers. It combines a shared masterclass with individual shadowing and mentoring sessions – giving participants both a strong common foundation and personalized support tailored to their real challenges. The program covers the full product lifecycle, from an idea and discovery, to delivery, continuous improvements, through product vision and strategy.

But more importantly, it focuses on how product professionals work in practicenot just what they know in theory.

The result: Product professionals who are more confident, more consistent, and more effective — and a product organization that’s ready to deliver at a higher level.

What program solves

Many companies invest heavily in their products – but underinvest in the people managing them. So, the result is a set of recurring challenges that quietly slow teams down, create misalignment, and limit the quality of what gets built. This program was designed to address exactly that:

Unclear roles and responsibilities

Product Owners and Product Managers, together with the rest of the organization, often lack a clear understanding of what should be expected from those roles, leading to gaps, overlaps, and missed ownership.

Inconsistent discovery and delivery practices

Without shared practices, every team figures things out differently. Some skip discovery entirely. Others struggle to turn insights into well-structured, actionable delivery work.

Weak prioritization and estimation

Deciding what to build - and being realistic about effort - is one of the hardest parts of the job. Without the right tools and frameworks, it becomes guesswork.

Insufficient use of metrics and KPIs

Many product teams build without clear success criteria. Without meaningful metrics, it's hard to know whether the product is actually moving in the right direction.

Misalignment between business goals and execution

Product people often struggle to connect the business's strategic intent with day-to-day teamwork, creating a gap between what leadership expects and what teams deliver.

No structured feedback on real-world performance

Most product professionals never receive honest, structured feedback on how they work - only on what they deliver. This program changes that through direct observation and mentoring grounded in real situations.

How It Works

Learning about product management is one thing. Changing how you work is another.

That’s why this program doesn’t rely on a single format. Instead, it combines three connected elements – each serving a distinct purpose, and each building on the one before it. Participants start with a shared foundation, move into real-world observation, and finish with focused, individual support.

The result is a learning experience that’s both structured and deeply personal.

Masterclass

The masterclass brings all participants together for interactive, structured learning. Across two sessions, the group builds a shared understanding of core product management concepts and practices - from discovery and delivery to strategy and team essentials.
It sets a common foundation that the rest of the program builds on.

Phase #2
2 sessions per participant | Observation only | In real work situations

Mentoring

Mentoring is where personal development happens. Each participant works one-on-one with the coach in regular sessions held at least every two weeks. The sessions are tailored to the individual - their goals, challenges, and patterns observed during shadowing.
Between sessions, participants work on agreed assignments and receive direct feedback, making the learning continuous rather than episodic.

Shadowing

During shadowing, the coach joins each participant in their actual day-to-day work - team meetings, stakeholder conversations, planning sessions. The coach observes without interfering.
The goal is to understand how each participant works in practice, identify their real strengths, and surface the areas where focused support will have the most impact.

Phase #3
4 sessions × 1 hour per participant | Individual | In person or online

FAQ

Most training courses stop at knowledge transfer. This program goes further.

By combining group learning with direct observation of how each participant works in real situations, and following up with personalized mentoring, the development is grounded in reality – not just theory. Participants don’t only learn new concepts; they get honest feedback on how they apply them in practice.
