FOR ANYONE DECIDING WHAT’S WORTH BUILDING – INCLUDING DEVELOPERS NOW DIRECTING AI
Certified
Scrum Product Owner®
Course
What’s actually worth building – when AI generates options faster than you can read them
Code generation got cheaper…
…but products have always been much more than delivering features.
Value over quantity
The right features instead of plenty of wrong ones.
Deciding becomes the bottleneck
When code is cheap, the hard part moves upstream.
Attention doesn't scale
More options, the same finite attention to win.
Stay alive
Products have a life, not just a start. Maintenance may be the expensive part.
When making things is cheap, it’s cheap for everyone. Knowing what to make is the whole game. That judgment is what the Product Owner owns.
Who this is for?
- Product owners and managers deciding what gets built and why
- Founders placing limited bets
- Developers and tech leads now directing AI
- Scrum Masters who want to help their POs better
What you'll leave with
Not a backlog tutorial. You need a leader's perspective.
- See the whole PO role - the thinking tools and mindset to own value, not just the backlog
- Steer, not administer - use Scrum to keep your team and stakeholders aimed at product success, over managing requirement details
- Prioritize well - techniques to tell the few things worth building from the many that aren't
- Plan your releases well - build the product in the right order, and optimize the delivery
As AI reshapes our work environment, this course builds capability that keeps you relevant as a leader – plus get the Scrum Alliance® certification.

People Usually Ask Us This ... about CSPO®
AI is making things faster. AI can complement skills a person lacks, and does allow an individual to achieve more. But it is poor at understanding what real value means to your users, customers, and business.
Successful products need human perspectives and insights. Scrum is still very valid as the cadence of stakeholder communication – backlog, roadmap, and vision – and connecting the team with their human environment.
And if anything, the role and responsibilities of a Product Owner have become even more important than before.
The backlog is the surface the PO uses to communicate and coordinate the work & progress. The real work is deciding what’s worth building and saying no to the rest – the part that requires human insight.
No. AI is why judgment matters more; we work on the decisions it forces, and how it shapes the environment in which we operate.
It helps, but it doesn’t have to be PO experience. We all are exposed to business decisions in our environment, and know what kinds of challenges POs need to deal with.
No. Even though it’s an online course, it will not be a monotonous slideshow. There will be many group exercises, and engaging discussions. Participants are encouraged to interrupt and ask questions, or even challenge the trainer. Topics will be sprinkled with real-life stories and advice.
These two courses are complementary. CSM focuses on leading the work – choosing the right framework (it’s not just about Scrum), what makes Scrum really tick, how to work with a team as a Scrum Master, and how to make a group of people into a team.
CSPO focuses on the Product Owner role and its key responsibilities – identifying what value means and creating a vision, building a backlog and prioritizing the items, and engaging stakeholders.
There is very little overlap in content, and they work very well together to provide a good overview of how to run projects well in an Agile way.
