Having worked extensively with leading companies across various industries, the speaker has hands-on expertise with the latest product discovery techniques and a deep understanding of their application in real-world scenarios. This speech will provide comprehensive insights into the slight differences of product discovery across both digital and physical domains.
The presentation will address several key questions:

Workshop on ORANGE stage
Topic: The Design Sprint 2024 – what’s new in it?
Description: The Design Sprint is a well known framework for solving critical business problems whose foundation lies in the design thinking. Developed by Jake Knapp, John Zeratsky and Braden Kowitz, based on their experience working in Google Ventures and helping numerous startups, this framework has spread through both startups and corporations as an ideal way to understand the problem, create multiple solutions, find the one that sounds most reasonable and test it in a 2-5 days.
The popularity of the framework lies in its simplicity, structure, clear and easy to implement techniques and above all its common sense approach to understanding and solving problems.
Since the first publication of the book Sprint, how to solve big problems and test new ideas in just five days, in 2016, the framework had several updates, the last one this year.
In the workshop we will go through the main novelties proposed in the framework, and try them through an imaginary, yet realistic example.
The workshop will cover following topics:
- About the Design Sprint – brief introduction to the framework
- Evolution of the Design Sprint – quick overview of changes
- Latest changes and additions to the framework
- Work in groups – trying selected techniques from the framework
- Wrap-up
The workshop is suited to everyone involved in product discovery and delivery, namely: product managers, product owners, Scrum masters, delivery managers, project managers, business analysts…
It is expected that the participants know what is the Design Sprint and its basic characteristics. At the workshop we will go into details of the framework, although we will have a brief introduction to get everyone on the same page, but rather in what’s new.
