Ana is a Product Manager with 20+ years of experience in the IT industry in different domains, from FinTech companies to navigation, gaming, etc., from outsourcing, to startups and large enterprise product companies. Ana likes to coach and mentor people in the domain of digital product management and leadership. She is one of the founders and a main organizer of Serbian Product community, as well as the founder of Productwize consulting agency.

Topic: Brick by brick building empathy and products
Description: Understanding the user doesn’t always come natural to the product development teams. It takes a mindset and a perspective shift to start looking at problems and products from users’ point of view, and empathise with them. Even with that, we tend to generate a lot of assumptions. If we take them for granted as truths, the results we create could be in vain.
In this workshop we will start to
– identify our assumptions
– practise asking users open ended questions
– be mindful of our personal and group bias
– practice to identify the problems users need solving
